And yet a lot of people seem to want that kind of repression to be replicated here. Beats me. I thought the aspiration of this country was that everybody - men and women - should be free to express themselves and not feel obliged to conform to dress codes on pain of who knows what secret punishment along the lines of what has happened in places like Iran, Afghanistan & wherever else. We have just mostly liberated women from all kinds of repression in this country after about 100 years and the last thing we need is an imported culture setting discrimination up in our midst all over again.
