Hmmm. Standing orders dictate that the pilots dont open the cockpit door.....regardless of how much hostie or passenger blood is flowing under the door. Maybe they didnt. There is a hatch in the cockpit floor down to where some of the Commm gear (that was disabled) is situated. Reportedly, two hands and two spanners are needed to open that hatch. On some aircraft the hatch can only be opened from underneath!!! Wonder if someone came up through the floor? Or maybe 2? Who werent on the passenger or crew list? I dont know, was reading on opinions on PPrune re the disabling of Comms. But maybe you could get up through there from the hold? Havent seen that discussed yet, but may be possible?
