    i'd speculate that it was not suicide but not for the same reason nj. the plane could have deviated much earlier for this purpose. a suicide in the scs means a 50-80m depth crash site. in the indian its a 1km depth crash site.

    this plane only deviated AFTER becoming transponder invisible, after going some way across the scs, then turning back.
