They probably want to accumulate Mel shares on the cheap, by frustrating long suffering holders, who then have had enough and bail.
Mel is very vulnerable and If I were ERM Power I would be mopping up all available shares, as we are trading at embarrassingly low prices. Mels current shareprice does not reflect their huge certified gas reserves.
Remember Mel floated in 2004 at 0.22 and they had no gas.
