Knew a Middle Eastern fellow with the name Fahkri. We could not get used to referring to him by his first name.

An Indian checkout girl at the local supermarket - Mandeep. There are also other genuine variations of ...deep.

Recall a vietnamese restaurant - Vonkok.

There is a law firm here called Bull, Son & Schmidt. They obviously could not put Son at the end.

In South America, the Mitsubishi Pajero goes by another name because Pajero means Wanker in Spanish, or at least the South American variant.
