Here is an idea. It probably isnt necessary but it could be a real little moneyspinner.
Youve probably heard that the perth Mint has suspended taking any new orders until further notice. It has been overwhelmed by the demand for physical gold.
Gold coins sell at a very good premium to the market gold price on paper. You will find that one out if you go nto a dealer and want to buy some.
HEG is a historic mining area and has a special association with nuggets and the first gold in NSW and Australia.
It could produce its own gold pieces, assayed, at say 1oz. For these it could command a good premium, selling direct or through an agent. Perhaps they could be produced from blanks and a stamping machine somewhere.
They would be excellent promotion for the stock-moving it much more into the public view. Free advertising.
Perhaps we could elect to take any future dividends (rare in a gold miner) in so much as we were entited to any, of sufficient size, in gold coins? That would be a buzz.
They might be stamped with Thomas Hargreaves likeness, or Holtermann's perhaps?
Same gold more cash. A lot of people might be prepared to pay up front into, say, a trust account, well in advance of delivery. The first would be collectors items soon, and some could be numismatic trophies around the world if not too many produced. It works pretty well with stamps.
I have a friend who is an expert stamper and caster. Maybe Ill give them a ring and kick a few ideas around.
