I doubt that offers will be revealled .. no doubt they were "confidential". I think its a good outcome ... and unlike most if not ALL junior explorers HGO CAN finance it themselves .. so if the numbers stacked up why not go it alone?

Keep in mind that with approvals in place, plant purchased and onsite work already happening HGO couldn't wait forever for a super-attractive offer. What though is to stop them selling off a share perhaps down the track?

Personally i think the upside offered by them being rerated as a 100% owner of a soon to be producing copper mine in a bouyant copper market is reason enough to retain full ownership. From presentations (latest one particularly .. slide 45 on page 46) they expect a significant rerating. That's probably going to be worth morte to shareholders than more money in the bank from a JV partner.
