Any church that establishes a cult of personality is eventually going to cause more harm than good. Brian Houston never struck me as being very bright. He was always going to be a used car salesman or a preacher. He preaches a doctrine of love of money and of course they persist with the insanity of speaking in tongues.
Went to their church once with a friend and it was the most skin-crawling insanity I have ever witnessed.
I'd like to see their church buildings turned into something useful for the community, sports facilities, something for the performing arts.
Crap might hit the fan but it will pass, people are too stupid to realise when they are being had.
