I have little knowledge about the system in place regarding lawyers. But from what I do know the various refugees are talked through what to say if asked questions with reference to getting into the country, or what to do if they are being deported.
To me, these so called lawyers are counter productive regarding unwanted people, who on the surface are undesirable, but the lawyers put the case that its their human right, for whatever reason, they be allowed to stay in Australia. I understand Abbott put a curb on the use of these money grabbers, but some must still be making a case and plenty of cash, as in the end the government is paying the bill, in more ways than one, legal aid, another name for printing money.
