Alternative energy stocks are booming and will continue to do so for many years. The funds know it but getting the message out to the retail market is pretty hard. I think Dexterbland has been doing pretty well of late. This emerging market will fire up in Australia very soon. For example the carbon market was worth $200m in 2005 - now it is worth $10b. Clean coal is also emerging as a both a political and economic issue. For heaven's sake, mine the uranium, but again, nuclear fuel will not eventuate with participation in a carbon.
The alternatives to fossil fuel are enormous and much money can be made in the process.
With the planned 40 nuclear reactors in China, on completion, this will only provide China 6% of their expected energy needs - the rest will be provided by coal. U is really only a sideshow.
By the time the market wakes up, I will have properly created a green pf at groundfloor prices. I'll be screaming her on too.
Monkeys rule.
