Why do climate change sceptics have such a persecution complex? "What ????????? Not me lol."
They may be in a minority now, but they still get published, they haven't all been sacked from academic institutions, they still have the most powerful business and political interests behind them? "You mean the rational and successful people are sceptical of greenhouse theory?"
-I mean the Saudis, Exxon, Shell, the coal barons, Halliburton, the Russian oligarchs etc.
And who is supposedly behind this global conspiracy against them? The manufacturers of energy efficient light bulbs perhaps? "Hardly, this is a complex issue and goes to the heart of what we are conditioned to believe."
-Its being portrayed as a global conspiracy (I have seen several variations on this in recent weeks posted on hotcopper) but no-one ever suggests who may be behind it, or who stands to benefit from it. Perhaps it appears more sinister if the perpetrators remain nameless, or most likely, the story be too easy to refute if someone was actually nominated.
