Not sure where the 3.0 Billion for contruction came from....I keep reading US 1.5 billion. I think financing for that amount, while difficult, very much achievable based on the quality and quantity we have.
As for the pipeline...I'm not sure I agree with the possibilty of some other party building and running it. To much risk on both sides...only one customer and only one provider. Why would we be held to ransom for the only player in town? and why would they not want more than 2 or 3 players to use their infrustucture...It doesnt make sense.
I see it much like Century mine in Qld...they have a pipeline from Lawn Hill to Kurumba which is about 300ks. They built it and own it and run it. And that pipe line was justified on a lot smaller resouce base than what we have here.
Also the pipeline doesnt have to be up and running from the start...it could be trucked or trained to Port Pirie or Port Agustsa in the interim.
