You are correct that $3bn is a lot to find but a project like this is pretty compelling. Providing HIO can get some offtake agreements in place which will provide security of future income then the banks will line up.
I reflect on the run up to RoyHill getting off the ground; many thought getting the billions they required would be impossible but guess what, it happened and they have never looked back & Gina is now the richest Australian!
HIO have the same challenges but guess what, they can do this.
