    I recall IRD stating somewhere that their grind size allows them or their customers to choose pelletising or sintering, and they have done the work to demonstrate the concentrate characteristics in both plants. Keep in mind that it costs more to grind finer. IRD made the point some time ago that 100 micron is the sweet spot between cost and revenue (biggest profit) for their ore type. Harryy correctly says the CEIP and HIO are different ore types, so HIO may be slightly different.
