Great story in a Herald Sun exclusive today. Hird tells all, and as most pragmatic unbiased level thinking people would imagine James Hird was not the lone wolf instigator of this sad story.

Dank was appointed by an AFL ex employee Dean Robinson who together devised the supplement regime. Robinson was sourced by the Essendon CEO, Robinson by the way had worked previously with Gold Coast FC and Geelong FC.
Hird says many AFL clubs at the time were injecting players with sometimes dubious products that caused sever long term deleterious consequences . Essendon wanted to depart from this damaging ethos and use a cutting edge modern and safe supplements regime to strengthen their players in a healthy safe way.

Hird insisted that all substance taken by the players should be Wada and Asada approved, he insisted all substances be approved by he club Doctor before being administered to players.

Hird had a love for the club and his players and they for him and to read the the trash that has been written about him by many; and the haters on on here; these people should hang their head in shame.

To say that Essendon were cheats is a lie, for people like that slimy Caroline Wilson who used all the emotive crap under the sun like injecting these boys with dubious substances etc, when all Clubs do it is more sensational crap. She is one very untrustworthy person and she should hang her head in shame also as many others should.
