the japanese were voracious and cruel killers -ask any WW2 vet who managed to survive the hell. If Japan had developed the bomb first I feel sure they would have used it on Australia without hesistation. When the japanese military rulers started to target civilian populations en-masse , there was no turning back. They had it coming to them.
The leaders are the last and the least to suffer in modern wars.
