Mal
still having a study in my spare time.
firstly, AXY acquired the Kalgoorlie north Gold project off NIO (nickelore) on 22 july, 2009. so i have been reading old NIO reports about the bardoc mining centre. those hits i originally mentioned are from old NIO announcements.
to answer your question with some added drill assays :
Halycon/Nickelore announcement of 30 april, 2003 :
* It contains numerous high grade intersections that need follow up
exploration, including:
4m @ 1058 g/t
14m @ 3.5 g/t
6m @ 290 g/t
12m @ 3.7 g/t
10m @ 85 g/t
14m @ 11.2 g/t
5m @ 6.5 g/t
5m @ 8.8 g/t
7m @ 22 g/t
3m @ 30.6 g/t
5m @ 25 g/t
9m @ 3.7 g/t
* It has produced over 100,000 oz of gold in the 1990s with a further
140,000 oz in un-mined ounces defined throughout a number of
prospects.
* Its proximity to infrastructure provides access to existing roads,
grid electricity, telephone lines (including mobile coverage), water
bore-fields and operating gold mills (ability to arrange toll
treating nearby).
The Bardoc project's existing resource base is hosted within a
geological and structural setting comparable to that of other large
gold deposits within the area. Bardoc contains both broad, shear
hosted mineralization and extremely high grade shoot style
mineralization. There has been a distinct lack of exploration below
the top 50 metres.
