Hmmm Chief, the more you research the more interesting it gets. If it's nuggety gold, which uyartz hosted gold often is, then grade factoring could come into play as with our mutual favorite MCO. These quartz formations don't seem to occur in isolation but are repeated over large areas, the trick is to find the bloody things as they are usually under 1 metre in width.
The drilling results should be very interesting and anything they find is likely to only be the tip of the iceberg so to speak.
Reading that information about Ajax shows how obsessed companies became with high tonnage, low grade open pit mines whilst completely ignoring deeper prospects. With gold at current prices it brings these ore bodies into focus as the mine setup costs are affordable at the grades available.
A real good spec buy at these prices I reckon.
