what's puzzled me for a long time is why NMDC ever wanted to buy in into LCY in the first place. A half-owned stranded Magnetite deposit, doesn't get much worse. Plus, as another poster reminded people, India does not want iron, it wants coal. NMDC said right back when that it intended to sell any iron ore not use it for its own consumption.

a half-owned stranded Magnetite deposit?.... hindsight's a wonderful thing. But for me LCY was originally a quick trade which turned into an investment. LOL.
