I pressed the enter button by accident, then the pc crashed. I was just too tired to get back on, So I hit the sack.
I was about to say that your comments were valid and to the point.
My own observation on the Muslim attitude in regards to Australia is quite clear, however.
I'm not proposing that every member of the Muslim persuasion should be chucked out. What I am saying is that unfortunately the Bali massacre has finally encouraged us to open our eyes to the real but hidden (not these days) agenda that Islam advocates behind the veneer of being the "world's most caring and loving religion".
I wish to god it were different and that Bali did not have to be the eye opener that it has. But something good has got to come out of that premeditated man (?) made disaster.
At this point, the mere fact that it encourages debate, or at least a closer examination of the Muslim religion, where we get to hear and through this medium, see, what Islam actually thinks of us, we may be able to understand what is the driving force behind this outrageous barbarism that seems to proliferate within the Moslem community world wide.
There have been some fantastic posts here on HC where massive amounts of actual prose and verse from the Koran, spells out clearly where we rate viz a viz Muslims.
It's by no means pretty, but it is transparently clear to me, that it is the root cause for the breeding of extreme fundamentalists, as the religion itself is patently fundamentalist. In other words there are moderate fundamentalists and the are "fundamental fundamentalists".
The proof is clear. Every outbreak of secretarian violence involves Muslims, no matter what part of the world. Apologists portion the blame to the "have and the have nots" but take Kashmir for example, everyone there is a "have not" yet it does not stop the Muslim massacres of Hindus or of late Christians.
They burn, rape pillage and of course get it back in return.
However when one looks at it objectively along comes an ignoramus like Rabbitoh and immediately injects the "Palestinian issue" as if that somehow is the cause for all Muslim violence in the world.
He would have us believe that the Kashmiris are killing each other because the Israelis are giving the Palestinians (a deserved) hiding.
And that's why there was all that Muslim killing in Kosovo. Must be Sharons fault because he stood by when the Christian Arabs killed the Muslim Arabs in Lebanon!
He lowers the calibre of the discussions here by introducing the Palestine problem whenever the Muslim topic goes over his head.
We, Australians, the USA and other Western countries are hated because we have been successful, and of course the Koran differentiates the accursed Infidels (us) from the true believers.
When that sinks in, through rational and truthful discussion and disclosures, we may finally approach the problem with an understanding of what the problem is.
Then, we may, and I say may, be able to deal with it. We are a multicultural society but that does not mean that our proceeses of democracy can be abused or manipulated to the point where we stand exposed to either terror or extortion by radical overseas and within time Australian-born and bred fanatics.
We have had a wake up call, a huge wake up call. We had better get our act together now. How many wake up calls does this country need?
We can deal with the problem if we understand the problem, and thank god we finally are beginning to the understand the problem.
