the two big drops represent the poor RA trial result and the exit of Novo Nordisk. Interestingly before the big drop in mid 2011, Cbio was telling shareholders all was well. However, the trial results that came out shortly thereafter were not good. The capital raising in late 2011 came right before Novo Nordisk pulled out, again, testing the the patience of the market. I believe these historic events are still being felt today even with the rebranding of Xtoll to ivx103. I think thats why positive news on the Lupus stuyd is so essential for this asset.
