It was just after last year's Enercom Oil & Gas conference in San Francisco [Feb 23, 2011], that Samson's share price decided to go quickly north [from $0.135 to $0.23] in the space of two weeks.
Well Terry and the gang have another 25 minute spot at this year's conference, [Tues, Feb 21st], where hopefully he will be building on the preso just delivered in Florida.
It would be a major boost if there is something positive to report as a result of fraccing at Australia II and drilling at Gretel II.
There was a lot of energy [pardon the pun] and hype/promise at last year's Enercom conference, and a large part of that was due to the 1000%+ share price increase over the preceding 12 months.
This time we have seen a 20%+ share price drop in the 12 month period and I guess the investor audience will be looking for tangible results vis-a-vis more producing oil wells and oil reserves before jumping aboard.
They say history doesn't repeat, it just rhymes. Well if the next 30 days rhymes with last year, I'll be over the red moon.
