I know for many, Denniston is just another three letter ticker and an entry in the portfolio, but hey, why not have some fun with it and learn a little about the history of the place. Hard to believe in this day and age that people took a ride on these coal wagons - surely one of the craziest ways of getting up and down a formidable hill but it beat "the track".

For me, well, had it not been for my grandfathers dreams of a better life based on Denniston coal, I might have grown up a haggis eating supporter of a try hard but ultimately p***poor excuse for a rugby team. I have much to be thankful for...
