Good to see you here. You are partly right. ONC listed in 1999 as Data Card Systems. I guess in the dotcom hype it became unrealistically priced(surely not another lesson in taking profits off the table....). It took a while to get the business model right. They went into voluntary administration, cleared the decks and among other things, underwent a 1:4 consolidation, hence your chart showing $8.00, should now show $2.00 approx. post consolidation.
Thus not so much a slide as new management recognising the potential and taking the necessary steps to capitalise on that potential. Since then they have grown exponentially and all things being equal will continue to do so. Bigger than Ben Hur is my guess.
