The fall in Japanese stocks particularly Marubeni is obviously fear and liquidating. Not nice for the remaining shareholders.
However, in the Board of these companies, it would be clear that to rebuild their nation, they'd better hurry things up and start buying what they need, yesterday.
The alternatives of plodding along, or slowing down make no sense at all. The only decisions they will be making is re-prioritising in the light of events. "Shall we increase our investment in nuclear, or gas?". In terms of investment decision to electrons timescale, gas wins.
