I cant see that we would get such high volume trading with a significant SP rise on the strength of a 4.4% yield 70% franked. I reckon someone does know something that we dont.
This is either a pending announcement regarding a significant increase in dividend or corporate activity IMO.
Really if one wanted income from dividends 100% franked you would buy Telstra Westpac or NAB or similar that are yielding around 7.3%.
