Iron ore producer Midwest Corporation (ASX:MIS) has intersected high
grade magnetite mineralisation up to 70.4pc Fe beneath the Beebyn DSO
Mineral Resource (W11 iron ore lens) at its flagship Weld Range Project.
The discovery of high grade magnetite mineralisation beneath the
DSO mineralisation at Beebyn opens up the potential of significant
volumes of this material being present within the wider Weld Range
Project area.
Laboratory bench scale magnetic separation test work (Davis
Tube) completed on HQ diamond drill core from the Beebyn Prospect
produced high grade magnetic concentrates.
