this site is quite good for those wanting to compare ATC to others in or entering the market.

it’s not terribly well updated (ATC hasn't been reviewed since late last year) but certainly useful enough. note that many of the NRTI's are combination drugs and most are taken twice per day (although, single doses are certainly evident). i'm no chemist but ATC looks to stack up pretty well. and, in a market worth somewhere north of US$8b per year, they only need a small slice of the action to be tremendously profitable. my only concern is that there doesn't appear to be an avalanche of interest from potential partners. i would have expected a knock on the door after the release of stage IIb trial results. there are many expert eyes out there - and if ATC is as good as it seems, you would think suitors would be clambering to get a slice of the action. after all, AVX market cap is but small change to the big pharmaceuticals. this one remains a punt, but one with very large returns on offer. i doubt we'll see the price creep up. if it's going that way it will go in a big hurry. much rests with the expertise of mr nathan drona, I would suggest.
