The second post in your last was very similar to what I do, but it also requires some real research and maybe some listening to others who know what they are talking about (I.E. BMD) I have used this for a long time now and I have been successful, what led me to this was a book by Peter Lynch "One Up On Wall Street" he said try to understand what you are invested in and stick with it, he also said he had sold out too early on some things that had increased in price and missed out on multi baggers by doing that.
