I think if you look at the facts, there is a more logical conclusion to be made.
HLO stock is thinly traded. QAN sold out and underwriter took a huge block of stock.
Everyone who participated is under-water and some of these guys need to get out.
If anything, they are pushing the price lower in an effort to draw out some buyers - to find an equilibrium so they can clear their books.
The old hotcopper theory of "pushing the price down so they can buy more" is one of the most illogical theories I've ever come across in any field and is usually spewed out by those that are underwater on the stock.
