As a very long term HLX shareholder I do feel like the mgt has not made the most of the recent improvement in the market for junior au / cu explorers. These cycles come along every decade or so and some companies do very well with the buoyant environment. Deg, chn, cnb leg etc Why is it that Hlx has done so poorly so far in this renaissance? Is the mgt competent? That is the first factor to look at. The companies that capitalise have one thing in common - they are led well. A top ceo and board will invest real cash in shares, use a top geo to crack the code using the latest geo tools and deliver great drill results.
