usually the driver talks to you
the driver often part time with another low paying job appreciates the money
usually come within 5 minutes where I live
don't forget the public have subsidised taxis for years. They have taxi ranks we pay for. they have call centres which fix prices so all companies charge too much. they charge extra to pick up from airports and other places from facilities we pay for either by our taxes or plane tickets
I would like to see all taxis go
we have been rorted by them for too long
