its hilarious how quickly the world spins isn't it??? what a predicament we have all of a sudden found ourselves in the midst of!!

Back in 2019 when I decided to quit my day job and do the investment thing full time with my own portfolio things were looking pretty good, until the day in 2020 when I had to tell my wife that we were down about 50% and the likelihood of any dividends was basically zero... that was a gut-wrenching moment indeed! Back then there was no sign of an end of the collapse, what made it worse for me was that in December the good people from my bank flew up to discuss an options trading strategy that I chose not to implement as I didn't think the market would fall more than 10-15% in 6 months... would have more than doubled my money had I listened...

For my mind we are just seeing a correction not a capitulation, I can't see how the ASX200 will drop to below 6400, maybe briefly to 6200. In a couple of weeks the big super funds are back in the market and they have so much money to deploy and so many bargains to be had... then things will start to settle down, the markets will refocus and life will move forward again, or not. The GFC capitulation was HEAPS worse than what's happening now...

Long term, HMD is involved in pregnancy and that isn't going away. The business is JUST out of the blocks, it only has upside. I've bought a few more today (30,000) as my money is tied up with another company and trying to get a structured position ready to go.. HMD has a materially different outlook as of the JHC tie up. The price simply does not reflect the potential at all, although I have said a few times that I thought the price would hit 22c... now is the time to focus on what BUSINESS you have bought not what PRICE you paid.. long term quality always shines through.

The one thing you can rely on with HC and share price movements... whenever they shoot up there are naysayers, when its red everywhere there will be gloaters and doomsayers... the market is irrational and HC even more so...
