OK fellow loyal Silex investors, here's something to help kill a little time while we wait for what seems like an eternity, for an announcement.
Perhaps you can help a relative novice?
At the moment I'm holding just 2000 shares of SLX. Bought with the loose change left after I invested most of my self managed super in overseas co's (don't ask :o)
Should I (or would you) take $20k of my personal savings and put it on Silex with the announcement pending? I'm sorely tempted, and feel like it's a semi-educated punt, but the longer the talk of a forthcoming announcement drags on I start to wonder. Even if there is a major announcement, unless the price doubles is it worth the risk, after taking into account cap gains etc? Maybe not?
What do you more seasoned slx watchers think, and how much are others holding?
Any thoughts most welcome.
