    Some countries, particularly the USA which is the second largest tb tester after Japan in the developed world, have never vaccinated against tb and therefore BCG is not an issue for them. The main target for Qantiferon Gold is Japan and yep it will save them squillions and CST will sell truckloads - 40m tests p.a.
