Interesting to read some of the older posts
Above your new post is one that I wrote on the 17/02/16 (17047914) with the last paragraph stating

The only way to fix the problem will be to reclad the buildings and when you consider that the cause of one of the fires was as simple as a cigarette butt which rolled against the wall being the cause of the building fire it is easy to see that it is a major disaster waiting to happen which unfortunately will only be fixed when one of these buildings burns to the ground and everyone is killed

Then the authorities may take some action

The Grenfell Tower fire broke out on 14 June 2017 some 16 months after my prophetic post and now we are 2 & 1/2 years after my post and what have the authorities done ---- SFA

Manufacturers cannot sell a solution to a problem unless the powers that be accept that there is an actual problem in the first place

Deaths, destruction, lost money and loss of confidence all mean nothing where someone has to accept the blame, it just won't happen
