Well it's all speculation. It might be murder on the dancefloor this week, however I can't help but wonder whether this will all just be a bit of a blip in the grand scheme of things. Zinc price is off heavily on the back of stop loss orders being triggered by hedge funds (fundamentals for zinc haven't changed at all as far as I can see) however the flip side of this will be potentially the chinese buying up again after Chinese New Year (18th Feb) at these lower than normal prices.
