I grew up in a turbulent time and my memories are shaped by events that shook the world and the music that helped us make sense of the world when we were young and not sure just what was going on. Sure, we probably protested too much and tried too many first time drugs and our parents were mortified at our behaviour, but we made it through and now we have children giving us grief - what goes around comes around. As much as we might be mortified at the behaviour of young people today I remind all our listeners of that Aquarian age and the chaos we brought upon society. Don't judge today's kids too harshly by ignoring our own history. I had fun and we can't begrudge our offspring from exploring their ways, too. Here's one of my favourite bands from that time. And I think I recall wearing a shirt like that. In fact I think it's still in the wardrobe. Sad I know.
