I saw Hockey being interviewed yesterday, and Tony also brought up the point that Coalition had provided welfare, much of it being 'middle class welfare'

This is the point that I wish Hockey had said :

"The difference between us is that we provide rebates when we have a SURPLUS IN THE BANK, it is only right to reimburse it back to the people. We gave much of it back in family allowance structure to support womens choice of staying at hoem to raise a family, or return to work.

The Labour government BORROWS money that it does not have.

That is a FUNDAMENTAL difference."
