hockey says low rates 'temporary'

IMO Seems like Hockey is looking ahead six months and warning us under an incompetent Abbott Govt interest rates will rise.

Libs seem to be warning us now that things will get worse under them ,remember the last day of Parliament Abbott finally admitted there was actually problems with the European economy that could have an effect on Australia.

The Libs normally get into Govt first then make excuses for their stuff ups, this is not looking good at all for Aust future.


On the funny side Hockey is finally admitting Aust does have low interest rates under this Labor Govt ,lets see what other slip ups with the truth they make in the next six months.

SHADOW treasurer Joe Hockey says current low interest rates are a "temporary feature" of the Australian economy.

Mr Hockey, in responding to questions about his home mortgage, said he spent less than a quarter of his income on repaying his loan.

"I, like others, have taken advantage of the lower interest rates to try to pay down the principal," he told ABC radio in Brisbane on Thursday.

"But I know, like everyone else, that that's just a temporary feature."
