It's a funny thing ,any issue I've ever known exactly what was going on in that reached the public domain ,I've never seen the press get it totally right .
In the case of 'The Age ' in Melbourne they've actually managed to generally print the opposite of the truth.
I's a complete rag ,the majority of their stories are written in their typing pool.
'The Sun ' on the other hand ,whilst it prints a load of codswallop doesn't pretend to be anything more than a pictorial for the masses . The Fairfax lot think that they're genuine journalists when actual journalism is the furthest thing from their mind.
Take all political coverage out if you're that way inclined ,'The Australian ' stands head and shoulders above the others both in terms of the depth of its coverage ad its even handedness . It's a wonder that it's survived with such a lack of any headlines but it seems that over time its readership is growing
