Resource Upgrade Establishes Husab as the Sixth larget Uranium Deposit Globally

Kalahari Minerals plc, the AIM listed resource company, is pleased to provide an update published by Extract Resources Ltd ('Extract' or 'the Company'), in which Kalahari's subsidiary, Kalahari Uranium Limited, holds a 41.14% interest, regarding a resource upgrade at Extract's world-class Husab Uranium Project('Husab'), which establishes the project as the sixth largest uranium deposit
globally.

Kalahari's Executive Chairman, Mark Hohnen, said, "This resource upgrade, which includes an Indicated Resource of more than a quarter of a billion pounds of U3O8, is a key milestone for Extract as it moves into its development phase on Zones 1 and 2 of R�ssing South and confirms Husab as the largest in-situ and highest grade granite-hosted uranium deposit in Namibia.. The publication of this resource upgrade, which is ahead of schedule, reinforces Extract's commitment to establishing a profitable, low risk, bulk tonnage, open pit mine on Zones 1 and 2 in as short timeframe as practicable and supports the rapid
completion of the Definitive Feasibility Study, which we expect in Q4 2010.

When comparing the Husab project to its uranium peers, for example Rio's R�ssing Mine, which has produced circa 500Mlb of U3O8 over its mine life which has spanned more than 30 years, the huge scope for a successful and profitable mine to be established on Zones 1 and 2 is clearly evident.

"Importantly, Extract has also published a maiden resource on the newly identified Zones 3 and 4, which further underpins the enormous potential for Husab's additional development. With further drilling scheduled in these newly
delineated areas, I am confident that Extract's resource base will continue to grow, providing Extract with the ground and cover to support multiple mining operations."
