I suggest that the prices we are buying at today will look insane in approx 4 -5 years from now.

There is no doubt that Real Estate values are down , that more vacancies will occur.

But I take comfort from the fact that the Banks now own 90 % of the company. Leaving only 10% in private invester hands.

The Banks will do whatever they consider appropriate to ensure that a Fire Sale does not occur, when the economy turns around (and it will) those who have bought very cheap and taken the gamble will be rewarded.
