If those 3m sands are good as some of u mentioned/heard at the AGM, then they may as well as do a DST post-logging, b4 they run a liner. So logs are critical.
If they think gas is tight or there's an issue with getting a proper seal for the packer, then by all means run the liner.
But seriously, another couple of days of stuffing around wouldn't do much harm, I mean why not test 'em while we have an open hole!!
Anyways wait for COP to back this rationale.
