tz, all points raised are valid, won't comment on the few additional remarks, am sure 618 can defend himself :-D However at the end of the day, if you don't have the stomach and stress at every piece of "possible" negative news, perhaps direct shares is not the best place to be? We are all here for the same reason as investors...to make money, pure and simple. However if it effects your lifestyle, all the money in the world isn't going to help that.

believe this was the point 618 was making and one i certainly agree with. Additionally a hurricane in texas is not only bad for the oil fields, but for "people", and the thread has shown little regard in this respect, even if it is an investment thread.
