    The Australian Labor Party's federal election win has been welcomed byGreat Southern. The forestry and agriculture group's profit and outlookwere affected by an Australian Taxation Office ruling that investors inhorticulture managed investment schemes would be unable to claim upfront taxdeductions from July 2008. Labor had previously promised to review the ruling,giving Great Southern hope that the policy will be changed
