If you had to look for a positive in the behaviour of the SMSL over the past couple of weeks it would appear they are bringing out the big guns, throwing everything that they can at Malay Government about Lynas in an effort to sway public opinion before a final product and any residue (if any) is revealed.
They know that at that point they will be unable to fight through speculation and fear but they will need to fight facts. Something that they have been brought down by in the past as the average Malay is smarter than SMSL take credit for.
Everyday that leads to production is a good day.
Hope I am wrong, but it looks like the SP might take a smack again today, as the underwiters possibly through their nominee holding accounts short the stock. Lets hope that sanity prevails and if the SP falls to unrealistic levels that the SPP is canned. The dilution at the current price is ridiculous. Im sure Lynas lawyers can think of something.
