"The 688 per cent surge in Woodside’s positive free cash flow to $US2.58 billion was partly attributable to O’Neill’s strategy of increasing the company’s exposure to LNG spot markets. In the year to date, 18.5 per cent of LNG was sold at spot gas hub prices. This implies stronger second-half leverage to spot sales to achieve a target of 20 to 25 per cent of LNG sold at spot gas hub pricing over the year, according to UBS analyst Tom Allen."
