Are we witnessing a ShangHai versus Hong Kong tug-o-war? HK people are very proud, and most here would recall the sense of autonomy or difference HK people may have, even if only privately, from the mainland. AVZ's tin and lithium is and will be a symbol of power. 'Hong Kong' have resources and I presume a tight-knit community to make it happen.
