This is a sad day. General Motors announcing they won't be selling new cars in Australia and moving away from right hand drive. This will impact many dealers and is probably an impact of our manufacturing sector going many years ago. It will also reduce competition. I guess it won't matter that much as we don't make them here anymore.

It shows how we are insignificant on the world stage. As important as we believe we are, we are only a population of around 25 million people in a world with a population in excess of 7 billion people. I have many happy memories of Holdens, but this will be the end of an era.
